If you'd like us to email you when the next harvest is in and we're ready for orders (around mid-July each year) just let us know, we'd be happy to do so. We only email people who request it each year.

We’d really love to have the time to take our garlic to the Dane County Farmer's Market or other local farmer’s market or festival but until there are more than 24 hours in a day or more than 7 days in a week, that’s not going to happen anytime soon. We’re both busy with our careers and raising our family so our days are quite full and we just can’t add the commitment of a farmer’s market to our calendar at this time.

So, until that 8th day is added to the week, the best way for you to try our garlic is by contacting us here through our website. We always have plenty of extra garlic to share including the big seed quality bulbs if you’d like to try growing your own garlic.

How to order: Our online catalog will list the garlic that we currently have for sale and the pricing information. If you would like to order some of our garlic, you can either place your order through our online catalog or if you prefer, you can send us an email with your name, shipping address, and garlic order by using the form on the bottom of the "About Us" page. Please be sure to let us know the quantity and size of the variety of garlic you would like and if it's okay to substitute a different size of the same variety or different variety if what you ordered is sold out. If you have any preference for substitutions, please let us know that as well when you order. We'll do our best to accomodate your wishes.

We often have a couple different size bulbs available for the varieties each year. The bulbs are measured and sorted as they are harvested. (1.5"+ means the bulb was over 1.5 inches in diameter, 2.5"+ means over 2 1/2 inches in diameter etc.) We don't sell our garlic by weight but we weighed some of the cured bulbs from our previous harvests and 10 of the 1.5"+ bulbs, or 8 of the 2"+ bulbs, 5 of the 2.5"+ bulbs, or 4 of the 3"+ bulbs weighed about a pound. Garlic will naturally lose a little weight and size as it cures and dries.

Any size order is welcome, we have no minimum size requirement for orders.

***We will email you back within 24 hours after we have received your order. So, if you haven't heard back from us within a day or two please email us back to be sure that either of our service providers hasn't blocked either your email or our email back to you.

Once your order has been received and we have confirmed availability, we will calculate shipping costs and provide you with a total amount due and payment information before the garlic is ready to be shipped. Manually calculating the shipping cost sometimes allows us to save you a bit of money on shipping and use a flat rate box when that's the better choice.

Garlic orders will be reserved and filled on a first come, first served basis. We run out of some varieties rather quickly or have only a limited supply of some varieties available to begin with, so please place your order early if there’s a certain variety or size that you really want. Orders will be filled with the largest size bulb available for the size and variety ordered at the time your order is filled. So, if you want the biggest bulbs, please be sure to order early. Please also be sure to let us know if it's okay to substitute a different size of the same variety or different variety if what you ordered is sold out. If you have a preference for substitutions, please let us know that as well when you order. We'll do our best to accomodate your wishes.

Payment information: Prices shown do not include shipping. Shipping charges will be our best estimate using USPS's shipping calculator for Priority Mail or the UPS calculator for larger packages.

We will request funds from you only after we have verified availability and caclulated shipping costs. We will accept PayPal® from US accounts, cash, a personal check, money order, or cashier's check. (please do not mail cash) You can make a secure payment through PayPal® even if you do not have a PayPal® account by using your credit card. Personal checks may be required to clear the bank before the order will be shipped. If you choose PayPal® as your payment method, we will email you an invoice with instructions for payment before we ship. If prefer to send a check or money order for payment we will email you your total amount due along with our mailing address. Payment must be received before garlic will be shipped.

Garlic orders will be held for 10 days after we send you the total amount due and if payment does not arrive, it may be sold to someone else.

Shipping information: Garlic orders will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS for larger packages if you prefer, please let us know if you have a shipping preference for a larger order when you place your order. We are not responsible for damage caused during shipping but please do let us know if something happens to your shipment.

If you live locally and would like to come and pick up your order, there will be no shipping and handling charges. We're located about 12 miles north of Madison, WI, and about 4 miles north of Deforest, WI. We'll arrange a time for you to come out and meet us.

Please note: We do not ship garlic internationally or to the state of Idaho. We are unable to ship to the state of Nevada if you intend to use the garlic for commercial production.

Other terms and conditions of sale: If you are dissatisfied with any garlic you have received from us, please contact us within ten days of receipt to arrange for refund of your purchase price or replacement upon the return of your order. Return postage is the customers responsibility. If replacement is not possible, we reserve the right to provide a refund.

While we do our best to grow good quality garlic and garlic scapes (afterall, we and our family eat it too,) we give no warranty, express or implied, as to merchantability, fitness for purpose sold, description, productiveness, or any other matter concerning our garlic or garlic scapes. For any bulbs or cloves that may be planted, we will in no way be responsible for the resulting crop. All garlic and garlic scapes are sold "as is." The purchaser shall have a right of refusal and return of goods limited to ten days from the date the goods are delivered to or received by the purchaser. After the expiration of ten days, the purchaser shall have no right of refusal and return of goods, and shall have no remedy against the seller.
